An oldie but a goody...

Looks like these ladies had Kerry pegged a long time before others did.

Meanwhile, Kerry is still calling for Bush to tell the Vets to stop the ads. What happened to "bring it on?" Now it's "MAKE IT STOP!" If he can't take dealing with his former comrades in arms in a simple political debate, how in the world is he going to deal with Al Queda in war?

UPDATE: Instapundit has just linked to this post. Only a day and a half on the web and I've hit the big time. I don't know what to say...I love you all...thank you..

Mr. Kerry, when asked if he planned to run again for political office, said only that he was committed to political change and that he would use whatever forum seemed best at the time.

And now that forum is the presidency.

Doesn't that inspire confidence?

I don't have a blog but loved your article so much I sent it to all on my little list and put not one but two links to your blog and send you a BCC. I can actually remember all of this being older than dirt and am shocked that it is suddenly news at all. What kind of party would nominate a candidate with all this in his background? Did they think all those millions of vets would forget? Those of us with family and friends who were never accounted for are supposed to just get over it?? Remember Kerry had a hand in that and had the original documenations on live sightings of POW/MIA's SHREDDED but knowing his character, copies were kept but it was the thought that counted. We will NEVER forget what he did in the early nineties concernng POW/MIA's with McCain's collusion, it is seared--seared into the hearts and minds of those who had loved ones just written off like that.

The most interesting thing about Kerry's Vietnam service is what it shows about his character now as he reacts to the SBVT. And it isn't showing much that's desirable in a POTUS.

Thanks to Glenn over at Instapundit, I've found a swimmingly great blog. :)
Left, right, who cares as long as as the truth is told.
Kerry is a walking empty suit. Oh wait, that's not quite the truth, he's an empty suit full of lies. About the only thing he's done straight in all of his years in office is to hang straight on a hanger in someone else's closet.
Kerry has already shown how honourable a man he is. By abandoning his own children through an annulment of a long marriage in order to remarry a woman richer than the one who had his children.
The man is an albatross hung around the neck of every citizen of America.

As I recall, all the people who love Kerry now, are the same ones who HATED anyone who fought in Vietnam. I remember those days. It was terrible what the guys had to go through not only in Vietnam but over here once they got home. I feel so angry about ALL that is happening now. Bush is a good man. And the bottom line for me is this: The terrorism trumps everything else, taxes, health care, jobs, you name it. If we aren't safe, nothing else matters. I know that Bush will defend this country, regardless what you may think about invading Iraq. Preemption is the only way will stay safe. Waiting until we are slaughtered to defend ourselves, is wrong.

I attended the annual air show in Chicago this weekend and was greeted by people holding signs denouncing the military as baby-killers and that the air show was propaganda by the military. These people holding the signs were the same people who spit on me when I return from my tour in Vietnam. John Kerry is one of those people and guess what? They all had Kerry/Edwards buttons. Well, I had a nice luggie to return the favor.

The vets don't forgot what that traitor said and did and I'm glad that it's being discussed here.

I don't have a blogg, i came across this when i was linked to it and i was so i happy i did. i was just a kid when that war was going on, but my parent's were very active within their church with the p.o.w.'s and m.i.a's. the lady in the article, i believe was pat hardy, her husband was capt. john hardy, she use to come over to our house and i wore her husbands braclete. from what i recall he never did come home, and they had two little girls. In our house you werent' allowed to say the name of jane fonda or her group, for the way they treated the vets when they came home, spitting on them and calling them baby killers, thanks in large part to kerry's testemony in front of the congress, which by the way they investigated the soldiers who gave accounts way back then and some weren't even in the army and others, one of kerry's good friends didn't see vietnam except on t.v. like the rest of us. so thanks for finding that clipping, i've sent it to my family so they could read it as well.

I was 17 years old in 1973, graduated from high school in June. Those years of the Vietnam War, stateside were the summer of drugs that still hasn't ended and a blur of what seemed like never ending loss and war on a television. And lots and lots of propaganda. We all wore POW bracelets and really believed our POW would come home. Mine didn't. I don't know anyone's who did. Now that I'm older and I understand a lot more than I did then, Vietnam was a lot of things, not just a war. It was the first time in history that American men were running to Canada to avoid the war. Not because they didn't believe in it ...... because they didn't want to fight for their country. Could you imagine that having happened during WWII. Never. It was a time of no patriotism and the start of the most hedonistic times in the history of this country. And all the boys who left here at 18 and returned home from the hell they entered, were spit on, were called criminals and worse for risking their lives, their liberty for mine and yours.

John Kerry used those boys when he returned from Vietnam as a political tool. The anti-war movement of which he was not only a part, but a leader, caused untold damage and death to all the American soldiers who were still fighting proudly. I have heard the Viet Cong used the anti-war movement, speeches, excerpts, documents to get POWs to turn. They didn't and were tortured more, thanks to the likes of John Kerry. Not to mention the fact that his Vietnam service/activity is a door he opened so proudly, now he wants to know who left it open. Reap what you sow.

I would be most ashamed to have him lead my Girl Scout Troop, let alone the USA.

Oh PS. I'm the long winded poster above. I am a lifelong democrat who will vote republican for the first time. I live 7 miles from Manhattan. As I watched the Twin Towers burn with tears streaming down my face from MY WINDOW, I had a moment where I said to myself: I was president, the entire middle east would be leveled by 2PM. No questions asked.

I believe George Bush is better president than I am, and I do believe he has showed the conviction to do whatever is necessary to bring about a resolution to what was not only an act of terrorism, but an act of war.

Add me to the list of those old enough to remember very well traitors like John Kerry, Jane Fonda, Ramsey Clark, and others! I vowed never to forget how they aided and abetted the enemy in a time of war.

If there is anything positive to the Kerry candidacy, it is that, after all these years, some of the truth is starting to come out! Hopefully, it will all come out someday.

The press has duped the American people for years into thinking that we all were against that war. THAT IS A LIE! Had it been true, the people would have elected McGovern in 1972 instead of President Nixon - who won by a landslide. And,like so many, those in our family also wore the POW bracelets, wrote letters and sent packages regularly to the brave, young men serving over there. It was not our military men who lost that war, it was the far left Democrats and Nixon haters in the media. There's a lot more of that story to be told but I am taking up too much space here.

We don't need another generation of soldiers being sold out by a President Kerry. That's exactly what the democratic party tried to do with the Iraqi prisoner abuse scandal. Ted Kennedy saying the abuse is systematic as soon as he's aware of it. And that it must be this adminstrations policies, instead of just a few bad apples as the investigations have shown. I saw on one of the MSM channels the other day an interview with the soldier who blew the whistle on the abuse and I believe it was Chris Matthews asking the soldier if he was being threatened by his superiors? He said no, they were actually thankful that he did what he did and they've put him under protective custody. Not because of the Bush administration as Chris was implying, but because he was from the same town where all of the people who committed the crimes lived, and the town hates him.

do you admit to involvement in atrocities while in vietnam?
should you have to face a war crimes tribunal?
if you were already opposed to the war, why were you committing atoricities against vietnamese civilians? were you really bored or are you a sociopath?

I will not go into the whole swift boat thing; I just have two make a simple comment. Kerry has publicly and big time lied twice. First lie was about Cambodia, second on his testimony of war crimes. Not 'got it wrong', not 'woops, confused and said the wrong thing', not 'misquote by the press', Kerry has knowingly LIED multiple times on both of these issues.

Now examine his reason for these lies.

Bush was wrong on WMD (of course they could have been moved but for sake of arguments will just assume they were not there), but he did not lie, he did not KNOWINGLY pass off a lie for truth, Kerry has.

For those confused about what lie means... http://www.bartleby.com/61/52/L0155200.html

I don't think it is wise to elect a president that will grandstand and lie for poll points.

With Clinton you had a known cheater before he got the office, and he cheated while in the office (feign surprise here), with Kerry we have a known liar, do you really want to see what happens once he gets office?

One might have some understanding if he did so for a just cause, but I don’t see the cause. He is apparently not anti-war since he is ‘for the war’ (if the case he flip/flops and this is false again just wait a week).

So why did he say those things about the vets?
Why did he say he was somewhere he was not?

As much as I disliked Clinton at least he didn’t lie like Kerry about his Vietnam years.

Kynn

Generally, when you get a group of vets together, they can always sit down and tell great stories of past experiences. Since there are conflicting issues between John Kerry's Band of Brothers and the SwiftBoat Vets, maybe we should have them all sit down and debate. Just them in one room with cameras discretely tucked away. I bet the TRUTH would definitely comeout. Maybe the Swift Boat vets can refresh John's memory.... or at the least, give him a rude awakening from the opportunistic dream world that he lives.

I was too young to go to vietnam, I missed it by a few years. I had 2 cousins in vietnam. One did 4 tours with the SOG ( a REAL hero), the other was a marine who was there during Tet and was overrun twice, and lived to tell about it. When he (the marine), came home he sat up in his room for a month, not because of the horrors of war, but because of the welcome he got when he came home by the likes of kerry's flock. He had to rushed through the airport because they were throwing rocks.

For my one cousin who is no longer here,I hope that bastard Kerry rots in hell.

One American who Remembers
John Kerry talks about restoring America's reputation around the world. The irony is that John Kerry was instrumental in giving this country it's bad reputation in the first place when he publicly stated supposed atocitites committed by our troops in Vietnam. He claimed to have witnessed our troops raping victims, cutting off the limbs and genitals of victims, setting fire to villages, and bayonetting infants. He went so far as to compare our troops to Ghengis Khan. The claims he made were later used by the enemy against us at the Paris Peace Talks and reported by news agencies around the world. Atrocities he now says were told to him by soldiers he never bothered to verify or get depositions from and other atrocities which he claims to have exaggerated due to the exuberance of youth. But not only did John Kerry destroy America's reputation around the world, he also destroyed thousands of returning Vietnam Veterans lives. Returning Vets were mistreated, spit on, denied jobs and opportunities and labeled murderers and baby killers by other Americans who either had their own political agenda or were uninformed enough to believe Kerry. Many returning Vets couldn't find jobs, suffered depression, became addicted to hard drugs, and even took their lives as a direct consequence of what Kerry told the world. In another time John Kerry would be prosecuted for treason. Yet this man is running for the highest office in this country telling people that he will restore America's reputation around the world. No one could ever repair the damage caused to this country's reputation by the opportunistic, politically motivated John Kerry. People should considerer very carefully the consequences of electing this most dishonorable man to the most honorable office in the country.

How true....in fact in another 'nother time, he's be walking the plank on his 35 year old swiftboat. Bottom line, he's is not presidential material. Nowhere close to it and no amount of hype can make him presidential material. Lest we forget, he even lied about being jewish. He just found out at the age of what 60 that his grandparents were jewish. I find that more than a little hard to believe and if I was Joe Lieberman I would have punched him in the face. Notice he never talks about the fact that he is jewish and he is obviously ashamed of who he is. Another reason to question his credibility. If he can't admit to who is, what can he be honest about.

At the convention: "All Americans will have health care"
3 Weeks Ago: "No American child will be without healthcare"
Last week: "Rebates for people who pay their own health insurance premiums"

Which is is John?

Reneging on election promises BEFORE the election?
Plus, he's a crybaby who is now using his Vietnam service to have a some sort of meltdown. He won't let it go and he's making it worse and worse for himself. A very severe tactical error to use his service in Vietnam to his benefit and think that he would be beyond reproach. Now that it's right in his face, he's crying about the logistics of it. I gotta say, when Micheal Moore's movie came out which was serverely damaging, George W. took it like a man. There was no crying, no peace treaties, no "get it off the air." Not a word. Which is exactly why he's a better man and a better president. The mud flies both ways. If John Kerry can't take the heat he needs to get out of the kitchen and he certainly does not have the strength of character to be president. He's not even in the kitchen yet and he can't take the heat.

Christmas in Cambodia my ass.

I was searching for Elvis and somehow ended up in your blog, but you know I'm sure I saw Elvis in the supermarket yesterday.

No honest really, he was right there in front of me, next to the steaks singing "Love me Tender".

He said to me (his lip was only slightly curled) "Boy, you need to get yourself a shiny, new plasmatv to go with that blue suede sofa of yours.

But Elvis said I, In the Ghetto nobody has a plasma tv .

Dude I'm All Shook Up said Elvis. I think I'll have me another cheeseburger then I'm gonna go home and ask Michael Jackson to come round and watch that waaaay cool surfing scene in Apocalypse Now on my new plasma tv .

And then he just walked out of the supermarket singing. . .

"You give me love and consolation,
You give me strength to carry on "

Strange day or what? :-)
