Mullahs for Kerry

Why isn't this a shock? Part of the Axis of Evil pulling for their boy:
Some of the well known, US based, Islamic regime's apologists and lobbyists have mobilized in order to boost Senator J. Kerry's Presidential Campaign among the Iranian-American community. In that line, paid interviews with their controversial leaders or TV advertisements for Mr. Kerry, with two of the Los Angeles based TV networks, such as "Tamasha" and "Channel One", and "Radio 670 AM" have started since mid-September. But contrary to these three non scrupulous and money oriented networks, all the others, who have a sense of integrity, have rejected the substantial offers made to them.

It has been reported that Tamasha's offices were searched, last week, for an un-revealed reason, by several FBI agents, and that its manager, the money thirsty and a well known Khatami promoter named Farzan Deljou, is under investigation.

Thanks, bkm, for this tip.

But after following the link and looking at another document on the same site, I believe the story you mention may simply reflect a minority - although misquided - view of a small segment the extremely diverse Iranian-American community, a few of whom I know first hand.

In part the second story said, "'With respect to good American and Iranian-American democrats, we need to remind them that Mr. Kerry has nothing in common with the democratic values which were shared by good men, such as, H. Truman or JFK. All Iranian-Americans must mobilize behind Mr. Bush who has publicly recognized their right for freedom and self determination. Voting for him it's voting for a peaceful World and the Freedom of Iran' the SMCCDI Coordinator added".

It should surprise no one that segments of all societies contain C3PO types who wish to appease, surrender and give way to the wills of others. The trick is to keep them in view at all times and never allow them to be in command - they simply can't hack it!
