"Hero" takes weekend box office

WAY off topic, but I just saw where Jet Li's movie "Hero" is likely to take the top weekend box office spot with $22 million dollars. I'm flat out stunned by this news: a subtitled, foreign film with a Rashomon type plot taking the top spot over some of the other swill that passes for entertainment these days. Usually, the best of Li's overseas stuff can only be seen on DVD. The movie is three years old and many of us kung fu fans have had to resort to either downloads or DVD imports to see films like this. Like I said earlier, maybe it's time for the studios to start getting this stuff over here sooner.
